This year, the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, one of Tampa's most cherished celebrations, will return following a break brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 1970, Tampa has hosted the festival, which features more than 200 musicians from all around the nation and draws tens of thousands of tourists each year.
On March 19 and 20, this year's festival will exhibit a variety of artistic mediums, such as painting, sculpture, photography, and more. Both well-known and emerging artists will have pieces on display, and there will be many possibilities for visitors to buy something to take home.
The festival will include live music, food and drink vendors, and kid-friendly activities in addition to the artwork. The festival has always been a good time for families, and this year is no different.
Of course, the festival's organisers are going above and above to protect attendees and artists in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. All across the event grounds, there will be hand sanitising stations, and attendees are urged to put on masks and adopt social seclusion.
In general, the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts' reappearance is a welcome indication of the gradual restoration of normalcy following a trying year. It's an event not to be missed for art enthusiasts in Tampa and elsewhere.
